Is Handover Global free to use?

Yes. Browsing, photos, prices, locality, amenities, reviews, favourites and saved searches are all free. A subscription is only needed to see a listing's exact address, contact name and phone number.

How do I narrow down my search?

On the search page, filter by rent or buy, locality, budget, layout (BHK, RK or studio), furnishing, property type and amenities, and sort by newest or price. Switch to the map to see where listings are.

Why is the location on the map approximate?

Accepted Answer

To protect owners, the map shows a circle of about 1 km around the property rather than the exact spot. Subscribers see the full address on the listing.

Can I get an email when new listings match my search?

Yes. Sign in, run a search and choose Save this search. We email you when a new listing matches. You can pause or delete alerts any time from Your account, under Saved searches.

What happens when I save a listing?

It's added to Favourites in your account, and we email you if its price drops.

How do I contact a lister?

Send an inquiry from the listing page while signed in. The lister gets your name, email, phone (if you add it) and message, and replies to you directly. Subscribers can also call using the phone number on the listing.

What do "Listed by Owner" and "Listed by Admin" mean?

Every listing shows who put it on the site. "Listed by Owner" means it comes straight from the property owner, who has verified their ID with us. "Listed by Admin" means the Handover Global team added it.

Who can write reviews?

Anyone can read reviews. Writing one needs an account, and you can write one review per listing and edit it later from Your account, under Reviews.

What does a subscription unlock?

The exact address, the contact name and the phone number, for as long as your subscription is active. The Residential plan covers apartments, houses and villas. The All properties plan covers every listing, including plots and commercial spaces, and Residential subscribers can upgrade to it any time from My subscription.

How can I pay?

Payments are handled by Razorpay: debit and credit cards, UPI, net banking and wallets. We never see or store your card details.

Does my subscription renew automatically?

Yes, at the end of each period, until you cancel. The date is shown in Your account, under Subscription.

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Go to Your account, Subscription, and choose Cancel. It stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Can I get a refund?

We don't refund periods that have started, but we always refund double charges, payments that never activated your subscription, and payments you didn't make. Contact us within 30 days with the payment reference.

I paid but my subscription isn't active yet

It usually switches on within a few minutes, as soon as Razorpay confirms the payment. Please don't pay again. If it's still not active after an hour, contact us with the payment reference.

Where are my receipts?

Every payment is listed in Your account, under Billing, with its reference.

Does it cost anything to list?

No. Listing a property is free, and we don't charge brokerage.

How do I list my property?

Create an account, then choose List a property in Your account. Confirm your email, then fill in the listing step by step: basics, location, price, details, amenities, contact and photos. Your progress is saved as you go.

How many photos can I add?

At least 3 and up to 10 per listing. Bright, horizontal photos of each room work best, and the first photo is the cover. Big photos are resized for you before upload.

When does my listing go live?

After you submit it, our team reviews it, usually within a working day. We email you when it's live, or tell you what to change if it needs work.

Who can see my phone number and address?

Accepted Answer

Only subscribers. Everyone else sees the locality and an approximate map area. People who send an inquiry share their details with you, so you can reply to them.

Where do I see inquiries on my listings?

In Your account, under Leads. You can email, call or WhatsApp the person and mark each lead as contacted or closed. Analytics shows views, saves and inquiries per listing.

Can I edit or take down a listing?

Yes. From My listings you can edit a listing any time, archive it when it's let or sold, put it back live later, or delete it.

I forgot my password

Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page and we'll email you a link to set a new one. If you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google instead.

I didn't get the verification code

Check your spam folder, then ask for a new code from the verification page. Codes expire after a short time.

How do I delete my account or get a copy of my data?

Contact us and choose My account or my data. We'll confirm it's you and take care of it. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep and why.

How do I stay safe?

Visit the property before paying anything, confirm the lister's identity and that they own it, and never pay a deposit or booking fee for a place you haven't seen. Be wary of prices far below similar listings or pressure to decide quickly.

Use Report on the listing page (you need to be signed in) and pick a reason. Our team reviews every report. For anything urgent, also contact us.
